WVDA responding to floods
WVDA has been in communication with the ADA, obtaining information regarding
assistance available to dental practices experiencing damages due to flooding
that impacted parts of our State last week.  WVDA sent an email to members
yesterday with a link to the ADA to apply for financial assistance.  Executive
Director Richard Stevens talked with the ADA last evening, and learned the ADA
will send a similar message to dentists today.
Stevens also talked with U. S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito last evening and
advised her WVDA was making arrangements to provide tooth brushes and tooth
paste to victims of the floods.  She said she found people needed these personal
items during her tour of flooded areas.  Stevens has contacted Crest & Oral B to
make arrangements for the oral health items.
